We want sobertravelcompanions.com to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities and people using assistive technology. We work to improve the site over time and review it periodically.
Standards we follow
We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Full conformance can't always be guaranteed, but we fix issues as we find them and as standards change.
Accessibility tools on this site
Every page has an accessibility button in the lower left corner. It opens a panel with these options, and your choices are remembered on your device:
- Larger text, in two steps
- High-contrast colors
- Underlined links
- A plain, easy-to-read font
- Pausing animations, including the flip effect on the departure boards
- Reset to the default view
The site can also be used fully with a keyboard. Pages use real headings, labeled navigation, and text alternatives for logos and icons.
Third-party content
The consultation form on our contact page is provided by Cognito Forms, and the map is provided by Google. We can't control every part of those tools, but we will help you reach us another way if either one gives you trouble.
