Sober travel companion services

A trained companion travels with the client door to door, so the routine and accountability that work at home come along on the trip.

What a travel companion does

The companion's job is to keep the trip predictable. Before departure, they map out the moments most likely to cause trouble, like a long layover, a hotel bar near the elevators, or a dinner where the host will order wine for the table.

During the trip, they stay close, keep meals and sleep on schedule, find meetings at the destination, and give the client someone to talk to when it gets hard. They also handle small logistics so the client can focus on why they're traveling.

Trips we cover

Clients book companions for work trips and conferences, weddings and family gatherings, vacations, moves across the country, and travel to or from a treatment program. Coverage runs from a single flight to several weeks abroad.

What it costs

Pricing depends on how long the trip is, how many hours of coverage the client needs, and where they're going. The companion's own airfare, lodging and meals are part of the cost. We go over every number with you before anything is booked.

Common questions

Does the companion stay in the same hotel?

Yes. The companion stays close enough to be available whenever the plan calls for it, usually in the same hotel.

Will people know the companion is there for recovery support?

Only if the client tells them. Companions are discreet and can be introduced however the client prefers.
